There is quite a few Malaysian Bloggers who had their PageRank demoted. Most of them is having PageRank 5 previously. Blogoscoped have a confirmated from Google that

PageRank scores are being lowered for some sites that sell links

In addition, Google said that some sites that are selling links may indeed end up being dropped from its search engine or have penalties attached, to prevent them from ranking well.

I have other site which have text link sold and it is quite a good source of income because it is stable payment monthly.

Take a look at those who are penalize.

  3. Ahpek
  4. Hong Kiat

I think that this site have actually blog for sometime to earn the PR5 and deserves the money earned from Text Link sold, unfortunately, Google does not recognize it.

It shows that Google is only picking on Text Link Ads advertiser as there is other blog like AdesBlog and News Straits Times (Malaysia Newspaper) both having PageRank 7, but sells the advertisements personally does not get penalized (or have not been penalized).

Selling Work at Home plan also does not get penalized? It is kind of a scam thing as it is like a ponzi scheme. You can do more searching online about this typist, data entry or work at home with potential USD500/week stuff.
