I attended BarCamp Malaysia today and it was actually pretty good. I did not know what I was expecting at the bar camp but now I finally undersand. It is basically a learning curve for everyone there, and you will be able to chose between classes and talks on the topic that interest you.
BarCamp is actually an international event with their official website at http://www.barcamp.org.
The first 200 registration was actually fully taken up and I did not manage to pre-register for this event. But luckily the event open up for walk in. I was there early at 9.10am to register and sat for few classes before leaving.
I won’t be there tomorrow because plans was made in advance and did not know that I will appear in BarCamp Malaysia. Although the place is kinda small when the are actually expecting more than 200 people, but there is no complaint since everything was free and there is tones of people you could possible meet.
And it would be greater fun if there is Wifi as a lot of people actually brought their laptop.
Great job to the committee that brought us this event and their sponsors. Thanks.

I was supposed to be there but couldn’t make it at the last moment as my parents needed the car. Oh well…
Do share what was happening while you were there.

I haven’t been to a barcamp before. But it sounds quite fun.
