It is free for a long time now in Malaysia. Even our KFC have free WiFi (not sure if it is whole Malaysia, though). But only happen now in United States, Starbucks is trying to lure more customer with their Free WiFi. I tried Blogging at Starbucks once , and it is pretty pleasant with great atmosphere. But when I was in Indonesia Airport and hoping to do the same, I only found out that they do not have WiFi there.

But good to know United States now have WiFi, maybe when I am there for business, it would be useful.

But there is a small catch to it, read the terms!

The Wi-Fi freebie will be available starting Tuesday to customers who purchase a minimum $5 reloadable Starbucks Card, register online for the Starbucks Rewards Card program, and use the card at least once a month. The two hours must be consecutive. New members also receive a voucher for a free drink.

Hmmm, I guess its a nice option for the customers to have. Almost everyone must have a laptop with em so they can just shoot it up and use it if need be….
