It has been a week plus since my Malaysia Top Blogs list is published and I am so happy with the response as my effort are appreciated. Nevertheless, there is quite a few comments too. Some that could be implemented, some that is impossible to be implemented and others that does not make sense to be done, and I thank everyone that wrote in.
It is not perfect, and I am working hard to update the list when I had the time. If you written to me, you are sure that the mail is read, you will see your blog appearing if you have the desire alexa and technorati ranking.
So now I have two questions hanging in my mind and hoping that everyone can share their opinions. We shall take the majority view as I would like everyone to own this list and build this list together with me.
So here we go, there is 2 polls, please give your voice.
This poll is about certain site that may be idle, a great example is Hemmy.net, whos last update is Sep 2008 but with its statistics it is still at top 10 of my list.
Another controversial is whereby some Malaysian may be overseas and there will be some foreigner staying in Malaysia who blogs. I would personally accept both since they are all related to our lovely country.

I am Malaysian, but currently studying at Australia. However my websites are targeted towards Malaysian. So, I think it is reasonable to be included in the Malaysian list. (not top 100, my blog rank at 2mil in Alexa)
Malaysian blogger who blogs under Streamyx ISP should get extra bonus because they have to suffer with the rocky connection. Hehe.

i was a bit curious how u write the script to get top 100 blogger?
too bad. I’m not in that lists..
ahbing: the poll says to include…and I shall do so
David: it is ranked from 1st to 100th….and I am trying to get the google PR included, as for the script…it just fetch the data from technorati and alexa accordingly.
KNizam, saladspoon, life4hire: thanks for the support
abrablog: is not too bad…work harder and you shall be there
that’s good that you want to carry out a survey of the top 100 blogs of Malaysia but there are other good topics too to chat or talk about.
nice list, but personally, i think that, just using alexa and technorati alone is not good enough.
try adding in more rank stats, such as
google page rank
compete rank
quantcast rank
etc
my vote same with majority
Sounds very interesting.. great post, thanks
