Traffic isn't everything. You can have as well as 5000 visitors and still make only a few bucks out of AdSense. AdSense earnings are influenced by type of traffic you get and what niche you're targeting. Ad placement, keyword targeting, organic visitors ( the ones that come from SE are more likely to click on an ad ), GEOIP targeting and last but not least, the types of ads you're using - these are the things that affect your AdSense earnings.

Steven: I had mentioned this b4 but what the heck. Most people would not put adsense keyword in their focus rather than producing traffic and generating more return reader.

the more traffic you have, the more chances your ads are getting click no matter the amount.

if you get a high paying keyword and have 1 user a day with 1% conversion. You will get what.....USD5 dollars for 100days. Wouldn't that give you less money?
