Easy to Say but Hard to Act

Posted by Adi Wong On January - 25 - 2008

Sometimes it is easy for big time blogger to say that there is much potential in earning big money online but when you try to blog and do the math. It never tallies, because of much factors. What I learn in life is that the starting part of anything (any business, blogging, real life or any other things), it is always hard at first and when you start growing, things grow exponentially. Therefore, it is important to be persistent and wait until your time come. Giving up in the middle of the process is so common among people that makes more people fail than succeed in business.

Let us look at bloggers like John Chow,  no offense he are great bloggers but their daily post begin to be nothing more than a personal blog, reviews, cars and guest post. Guest post are usually pretty useful as people would want to get their link up the website, in order to have some promotion for their website. A new blog like mine will bleed to death waiting for some guest blogger to come by.

I am now actually feeling the pain as to find things to post which are useful and worrying that it may not be good. But I like it as it is part of me who wants to get updated in blogging world, to keep note of all useful things.

In my opinion, the notion of making money exclusively from blogging just doesn’t make financial sense. Blogging is labor intensive and time-consuming. We’re better off focusing our efforts on projects designed specifically to make money and using blogs as a source of traffic, content and links. In other words, pay other people to write for you.
