This is the very first time for this blog to publicize feedburner count because it has been low previously. As I have reach the 100 reader mark, I have decided to publicize it. Not sure if it will increase my rss feed subscriber but I decided to give it a try.
There is a lot of bloggers talking about publicizing feedburner count too early because you will give a negative impression towards your blog. But on the other hand, you will have another icon on your website asking others to subscribe to your feeds.
Also, if you decided to keep your feed count a secret, remember to inactivate it because people will still be able to view your feed count with this reveal feedburner count trick.
If you would like to publicize your feedburner count, here is what you need to do.

I have about 10-14 subscribers right now, and I still show the numbers. I am not afraid to show it and I don’t care what others think about the low numbers.
Many bloggers choose not to display the feedburner feed counts on their blogs to hide their low number of RSS subscribers.
Kai Lo & TIP: different people different opinion….but i find it hard to get RSS subscriber
I wonder whether it’s anbody’s business what your feedburner count is?
Sure, if you want to show off, but I’d tend to keep that sort of thing to myself.
I wouldn’t want to display the low number of subscribers I’d wait until I had enough people where it was comfortable to display..
I’ve always said if you don’t have several thousand readers, then publicizing that you only have 14 people who care about your site is probably not a good idea.
I’m not sure it matters much. People will read your blog if they like it not matter the count.
already do that. But i will do that again to my new blog. Guess its needed.
I do not know, I doubt that this will be a big effect.
