After a month trial of Entrecard, I am now not motivated to run it. It is actually a very good idea to get more traffic, but I felt that most traffic coming in are only to get Entrecard Point. Overall, I did not really lose out as I won 1000 credit from problogger, and with that, I bought some directory submission.
If you like to participate in Entrecard, I suggest that you be prepared to work hard and click even harder. The harder you drop cards and participate in the forum, the theory is that people will also drop you a card back. Therefore, the cost of your advertisements gets higher.
Also, the entrecard explanation from JohnCow seems pretty true. People are here to click and go. Until today, my site only cost 15 points to advertise. I see some website with PR0 and high high alexa ranking cost more than 200 credit. It shows that I am lazier than them and I do not want to spend time doing clicking everyday.

You are not using it correctly. -_-
I don’t think so. I understand that I need to click on others and that will promote myself, but the work is too much while the reward is only be getting others to drop some cards on my site.
yes, i agree with you! I drop more then people drop for mine…
but in my opinion, i have another opinion… Some time when II have time, I visit those blog with same categories with mine, comment and get info from those blog too…
other then this, the point we earn, my help use promote or expose our blog or image to other. and some how may look as advertise in those higher traffic blog.
