You may find some blogs showing a very big amount of feed subscriber. A fake Feedburner animated image could be easily done to show that your blog has a lot of listener. Or a much simpler way is that, you actually use this feed image which I capture from Problogger.
It is very tempting to use a fake feedburner stats because you are expecting others to subscribe to your stats when they see such a high followers, but keep in mind that it has a downside when people found out about your blog, you will lose credibility.
To reveal the real stats, it only take you a simple step of adding some letters into the feed url. For example, lets take AdesBlog.com as an example.
- Top right corner of the blog you could see that the feedburner is 761 readers.
- Feed url is http://feeds.feedburner.com/AdesBlog
- All you need is to add (~fc/) http://feeds.feedburner.com/~fc/AdesBlog
- And you will see that the actual feed is 761 readers, concluding that the feed subscriber is real.

Cool. Thanks for the info,
