I never really thought that someone would actually start to steal my feed since my blog is very new. Unfortunately, it is too easy to do that. All you need is to buy a domain, hosting fee, install wordpress and a feed aggregator plugin.
Personally I have talked to few webmaster during the Malaysia Webmaster Gathering and bloggers are facing such an issue. The solution that I could think of is to have a copyright on your feeds. Today, I installed WP-©Feed and still trying on the function.
This wordpress plugin allow me to add a footer on every single post in my feed. I am even allow to add html code into the footer. This means that I am able to add sociable inside my feed as well. I will try it out and update you guys later.

Oh.. one advice. THis is what I’ve read online too.
You can find the stupid thief URL and see if he uses Google Adsense. If he does, report his sorry as (Google ID etc) to Google for stealing content. At least let the bugger lose his Google Adsense account.

This never happened to me, but I signed up to FeedBurner and installed the same plugin as the one you stated, just in case.

yeah and one of them is usually Adsense. So if you kill the bugger’s Adsense account, he’ll definitely feel the pinch
Yea, just cancel his adsense account. That should teach him a thing or two about stealing from other people!
I think that particular website will be banned from google adsense, but the adsense account will not be banned.

I have noticed this. I do get a trackback and that is how I know. It seems to be an automated process so how do they do it?
coaster: there is plugin out there to do that…but I do not promote this sort of blogging style…so I am not teaching them here.
Hey that sounds like plagiarism – internet plagiarism probably, but with the advancement of new technology, people always seem to beat it and come up with new ways to ….. circumvent and try to steal!!

is it similar with the rss footer plugin?
and, imo, google should have an ability to detect the duplicate content..sure, we can send them to the google spam report as a kind of duplicated content or even scraper’s site
