Finally I have upgraded to wordpress 2.5 after seeing much changes in the admin theme. I find it a little hard to navigate as things are not in the same old position. But this is what bloggers have to do and keep updated.
Overall, I only have a problem with the uploading of pictures as it seems like my flexible upload is not working. There is no mention of resizing the width of picture, unless I edit them unproportionally. Take a look at the new dashboard. It is actually the same but some of the tab name has changes (ie “Presentation to Design”).
This is one of the best function so far, “One Click Update”. It will actually download them and update on your behalf. Cool isn’t it? It just makes us lazier.

I use an Open Source platform, Serendipity – works well for me though I guess I’m lucky to have someone to help me when things go funny.
You can install the Fluency Admin plugin which still gives you a souped up version of the interface all WordPress users are used to. I wrote about it here. It’s also good to have that with Ozh’s Admin Drop Down as well. Both those plugins work together to make one hell of an admin interface.
Edrei: wow…nice find…it is actually pretty nice looking at your screenshot…i will find time to try it out…thanks a lot
