Adobe have just launch Acrobat.com to share all of its web application on one single website. Previously I had reviewed Adobe Share, which is also included into this Acrobat.com. Currently it only have five web application, and this application is finally out of Adobe Labs. I belief that Photoshop express will also become a part of this Acrobat family.

Acrobat currently have 5 different web applications:-

Allow you to create word documents online.

It is an online application for Work Group, sharing computer screen, online chatting, white board, remote control and chatting application. It seems like it will be very useful to have online meeting.

Convert documents and pictures files to PDF.

Share files online with your friends and family. A total of 1GB storage space.

Store your files online.

I have some catching up to do after 2 days of slow slow connection. There is little to be done because I can’t download / upload any files. Normal surfing around the Internet is just causing more frustration. I manages to read some update via feed regarding a Free Photoshop eBook by Sitepoint. Although I have not taken any time to read through this Free eBook, with 295pages of Information, this book is filled with basic to advance photoshop technique.

It is only up for a limited amount of time. Currently there is only 22 days and 12 hours before the free photoshop ebook is brought down.

Adobe have recently released their own Media Player, it is basically a Online TV, similar to Joost. Looking at Joost, it seems that the trend is not there yet for online TV, also mainly because broadband in most location of the world will not be able stream joost without interuption. I said that because I am using 1mb ADSL from Streamyx, Malaysia and I barely could load joost smoothly.

Adobe Photoshop Express is a free version of photoshop and it is web base software. The function availabe is very limited, and it is mainly for picture editing. This service is very similar to Picnik and FotoFlexer which are currently offering their service for free too. Currently Photoshop Express is still lack of features even compare to those photo editing software. While Fauxto is buggy, it is the closest feature you could get for a drawing software online.

Hopefully Photoshop will bring it up a notch and provide more feature online.

Picture worth a thousand words, and pictures taken with a camera is almost never perfect. Phoshop is always the best alternatives to have to picture fixed, framed and placed in your living room.

Adobe is trying out some file sharing program. They are currently having it in beta and you could subscribe to it already. As expected, it is fully flash based and you will have 1024mb of space (1GB). I am able to upload a picture, files or movie and use the embed code to post them from my blog. This is something useful.

Like any file sharing websites, you are able to do the follwing with Adobe Share:-

• Send documents without email attachments.
• Access your documents from anywhere.
• View all the documents you have shared or received in one place.
• Post a link to your document on a wiki or blog.
• Embed a Flash® preview of your document on any website. – Sound good, but it is not available yet.
• Limit access to a document to a list of recipients.

The good things is that Adobe is opening up for other developers to have Adobe Share embedded in different programs or websites. If you are a web developer, take a look at their Adobe Share API, maybe it will be plus to have this on your script / program.

Photoshop is a pretty nifty tool when you know how to use the tool properly. Therefore, photoshop tutorial is pretty useful to learn more and more about ways you can manipulate you pictures with Photoshop.

Photoshop matte painting is what this tutorial about, the effect of it is pretty useful but the steps to isolate the building and some bushes using polygonal lasso tool is going to be hard.

I am not familiar and have not used CorelDraw, but it I know that it is a worth opponent to Photoshop. Since I received quite a good response for my previous post to Cartoonize your picture, I decided to do some search whereby you could use CorelDraw to cartoonize your picture.

• Cartoonize your picture by Tutorialmix - This uses a Jessica Abba picture to be cartoonize, the steps seems much easier, but result looks like a sketch to me.

Another tutorial I have found is using Photoshop or flash. It is a old tutorial but the result is very appealing.

This is just a very simple technique, and a one click thing. But it will be useful from time to time.

Sometimes, you face this when you are scanning your pictures, taking pictures from an uneven ground or even some stranger taking your picture may end up like this.

All you need is a photoshop CS2 or CS3. If you can do that with an older version, let me know.

Now you just have to do the following:-

1. File > Automate > Crop and Straighten Photos
2. You may want to crop some of the mess or whitespot.
