Twitter Account For Sale at eBay

Posted by Adi Wong On April - 13 - 2008

A Twitter account is for sale at eBay and it is going for $405.00 with 9 days to go, very impressive. The twitter account belongs to Andrew Baron, It is also carrying a PR5 at his twitter account, meaning you will get a linkback to your blog. The important factor which determines the price I guess would be the follower, 1413 currently.

After some calculation, this amount to $0.2866 / follower. Not too shabby right. I bet Andrew is getting tons of publicity to his personal blog for this sale too. Great idea, and there will be a lot of followers very soon.

Blog till they Died

Posted by Adi Wong On April - 7 - 2008

The death of two bloggers was said to be caused by an obsession with updating their websites. Sometimes I have this urged to blog when I have an idea, but my obsession is mainly computer and Internet. I am quite addicted to computer and I have no idea why. As a blogger myself, I would definately love to know everything and blog everything first hand. This is because we know that the first who know the knowledge would actually gain some exposure.

There is actually no official diagnosis to link the death to blogging but it is reported that a lot of bloggers are claiming that they have lose/gain weight, sleep disorders, exhaustion or any other symptoms.

Telegraph UK reported as follows:-
Fatal heart attacks suffered by Russell Shaw, 60, and Marc Orchant, 50 – two prolific technology bloggers – as well as the case of another, Om Malik, 41, who survived a cardiac arrest in December, were cited by The New York Times.

More detail news about the death of this 2 bloggers could be obtained at NY Times.

Are you exhausted? Do you have sleep disorders? Are you a Blog Addict?

I know to some extent that I am! :)

Iminta, What are you inta? is a combination of all social networking website out there including del.icio.us, jaiku, pownce, twitter, digg, stumbleupon, youtube and much of other websites that I have not heard before (but no sign of Poodz).  The good thing is that, all you need is just one login to keep track of all your friends in different networks.

After collecting all your micro-blogging information and social bookmarking information, you are able to publicize your iminta feed a whole.

I think they are tracing all this information by feeds, but it is getting very complicated to have social network website which covers other social networking website. Although all features and function of Iminta is very web2.0 with Ajax and easy navigation.

It is currently for invite only, if you need one leave me a comment here.

Also remember to add me into your account. 8dee’s Iminta

Search Engine 2.0

Searchme is a visual search engine. A screenshot of the related link will be preview on searchme. It seems to be a great idea bringing search engine to the next level, but I am sure searchme is bandwidth hungry search engine. Therefore dial-up or slower speed internet connection will be having some problem to load this website.

The good thing is that this looks more like a search engine for this web2.0 era. Take a look at their introduction:-

Poodz – Another Micro Blogging Platform

Posted by Adi Wong On March - 12 - 2008

Poodz seems like another Micro Blogging Platform just like Twitter, Jaiku or Pownce. There is too many in the market and Twitter seems to be doing the best so far. The only difference so far I could see is that Poodz offer an email which we could MMS video, sound and text through it. Poodz is mostly flooded with French user, therefore, it may take some time for you to find some friends who speaks in English.

Currently, Poodz does not have feed importing feature but you could import all your twit msg from Twitter by providing them your username and password (let me think twice). But Poodz have their own API for developers, if there is supporters, they should have their feed importer pretty fast.

Although I prefer Jaiku, I am starting to use Twitter much more because of there are more and more developers for new functions with Twitter. Since I could add my website to it, it provides me another link back to this blog. Anyway here is all my microblogging profile. Add me:-
