Do you have the time to update all your social profile and micro-blogging profile. But I am seeing that some people are doing that. Currently I have Twitter, Plurk, facebook, FriendFeed, Identi.ca, Rejaw and LinkedIn that are currently supported.

Trigga.me is the service that we are all looking for because you could update all the above social profile with by typing the message once and clicking the submit button once. This is how the web interface looks like.

The interface is simple and similar to most of the microblogging site like twitter. You notice that there is a drop down list at the right. You can make a few groups to group few social profile together. When needed, post accordingly to the groups you need to convey the message.

Currently they are in invitation only, try submit your email and you might get an invitation in minutes.

Forum with Wordpress

Posted by Adi Wong On January - 28 - 2009

Wordpress is a great piece of script, I have used tones of paid and free scripts to develop different kinds of website and I will always try to use Wordpress if it is possible. Recently I found out that it is posssible to have forum plugin using wordpress as a CMS. Simple Press is simply a Wordpress Plugin but it is filled with all the basic function needed to run a forum. I have not seen it used much, but I started installing it on one of my website and it will be launch soon.

Simple Press have all the needed function to run a proper forum, there is different user groups, filtration of words, simley, avatar, moderators,  and even the layout looks exactly like a forum. So far, it is great and it only lacks some function but they are not important for me.

There are few layout that comes with the plugin, it may not be sufficient for all users, but I am using one of the default wordpress forum layout.

Yup, you see it right, I am relaunching my NewlyWebsite and it will include forum. This is a glimse of the site, but it is yet to launch. NewlyWebsite is basically a website for New Websites to promote their fresh idea, for the first traffic, and a review. This is because we believe that all websites have to start somewhere. With this forum we could allow discussion and share our knowledge for a better World Wide Web.

TwitBlog – For more than 140 characters Twit

Posted by Adi Wong On December - 15 - 2008

If you need more than 140 characters to express your feeling at twitter, you can try this service, TwitBlogs. Basically it keeps the post on their homepage and post the title with a short link on your Twitter profile. It is like having your own blog (but this is using their blog services) with the use of Twitfeed.

Here is how it looks like on my test post to my twitter account.

Yahoo! Web Analytics

Posted by Adi Wong On October - 9 - 2008

I am actually quite happy with website statistics provided by Google Analytics together with Sitemeter stats. On top of this two great website statistics provider, I am also using Woopra because I enjoyed the live statistics on my website visitor. Google Analytics on the other hand is quite slow in its stats and the timezone is messed up, but does provide me a good range data.

Yahoo! Web Analytics is currently at beta stage and unfortunately I am also unable to register for an account. Hopefully Yahoo! Web Analytics will be able provide us with some better stats that no other analytics could provide. From its front page, these are the following features:-

  • Basic Analytics Features
  • Custom Design Report
  • Drag and Drop customization dashboard
  • Live statistics (within minutes)
