Create CSS Menu

Posted by Adi Wong On September - 10 - 2010

Create CSS Menu

I am always fascinated with themes using drop down menu and even better if it support more than 1 level of submenu. I would actually say 2-level submenu would be very much sufficient for most usage. Only one of my blog currently uses CSS Submenu because it has a lot of categories and the CSS Menu helps visitor to navigate around easily.

So to create a CSS Menu may just tough especially if you want to incorporate round corner, picture, mouse over and other graphical effect. I have found this great software which is free to use. It does not use java script and 100% css driven menu. The best is that if provides a GUI for you to configure your menu.

Colour Matching Scheme for Web Designer

Posted by Adi Wong On June - 29 - 2009

If you are a web designer or especially a rookie web designer (like me), you are sure to get into a situation whereby you are stuck because all the colours you picked does not matched. All you need is just a main theme colour, enter it to the RGB section on the bottom right towards the circle colour chart.

This is an example of the website screenshot. It is definitely very useful for designing logo, websites, name cards, and I guess every design work if you are not good at colour matching. It is a great help for me as I have used them for quite a while before they moved to this new domain.

Remember to click on the sample design, of light design or dark design. You can get a picture of how the matching of colours without guessing them.

Free Photoshop – SUMO Paint

Posted by Adi Wong On November - 4 - 2008

This is no normal photo editor like Photoshop Express or other free photo editor. It is quite similar to Fauxto that was posted previously, but I like this better because it is much smoother and Fauxto was buggy then.

It is a very good photo editor with layers and most basic to intermediate tools you could find at a photoshop. But this is available for free and at the same time you could use this piece of software anywhere you go with a browser.

Below is my trial and I manage to draw something and download it without any problem.
