Another great finishing as Google updates its Pagerank as a belated Christmas Gift or as a 2009 gift. 
This website still maintains its PR3 for one year. I am quite happy because a lot of people are having a drop instead of an increase. I actually felt that it is easier for someone new to create a website and gain a decent pagerank of 3 rather than trying to ask reconsideration from Google to get back your pagerank even though one of my website have not been selling text link and only one paid post is written (and it is removed). Even my personal blog adiwong.com that contains only 4 post had Pagerank of 2 that was not really looking forward for.
Anyhow, it is a pretty good year and hopefully 2009 will be better.
For those who are new pagerank is not that important even if you are making a website that the traffic is very much dependent on the search engine traffic as long as there is sufficient good information for people to search for your website.
I was pleased to see that I got a slight bump in pagerank, but as you say it’s not a terribly important factor overall.

A couple of weeks have passed, and I’m pleased to see that several of my sites ended up having a significant PR boost.
Horay for the PR update. It is mostly meaningless since PR updates constantly behind the scenes, but at least it gives us some new datapoints to play with right?
My blog is sandboxed :_( I suppose it is because when I started I sent it to a lot of free directories too much fast. Being fair I haven’t got too much unique content, it is a download desings site. So I habe three months more to improve it.
Always good to get a PR gift.
We got an indirect one – the hoempage remained at 3, but some internal pages moved from 0 to 2! SO I’ve properly got my head back in the game to aim for the end of March. Fingers crossed we should make a leap by then.
