Going back to Exabytes

Posted by Adi Wong On January - 22 - 2010

Yes, I am back with Exabytes Hosting. A few months ago I ended my hosting with Exabytes because I am getting quite frequent downtime with Exabytes, then I was offered a free hosting by Exabytes just a week ago. They had given me this hosting for free, to prove that their move to AIMS datacenter will improve their server uptime, previously their servers with TM Net. I did not need any extra hosting but since they are free (I already had 2), I think that it is great to give them a try.

I have transfered one of my website back to Exabytes, it is at Mart.com.my. Although Serverfreak uptime has been great so far, I still miss the Exabytes load speed for Malaysian and it is still the same with AIMS datacenter.

Submit a ticket for SSH in order for me to transfer my domain quickly, and within 2 minutes it is activated. It was pretty much the same as previously.

ermm….what question are u trying to ask? I assume all webhosting companies have some degree of safety and neva really put security in mind. But all my years with them…they do send security updates/security flaw update via email for famous scripts like joomla

They are very confident to give you free hosting. They know that they are much better than before now. Good customer service!

That sounds cool that they give you a free hosting. I was their customer few months ago as well, but switched to Hostgator months ago due to frequent downtime from Exabytes.

If you’re targeting Malaysian visitor, Exabytes will be better and if you’re targeting US traffic, it’s better to use oversea hosting and to give US visitor better experience.

Anyway, keep us updated the Exabytes performance okay? I would like to know whether they have really improved.

    Regards,
    Lee

I am still not impressed with services provided by Exabytes :P Currently using IPServerone to host my blog. So far so good.

    Wow…very good…
How do you find the service of exabytes… Please provide your honest opinion… I’m having difficulty with some local hosting company…
I need to have the most reliable one…

honestly, I would say that they are slightly more expensive from the rest, but as a business, I would pay more for better service and uptime.

So far at their new AIMS datacenter, I have no downtime for one of my site that is migrated there. Much better than previously.

Service point of view they are simply great with 24×7 ticketing support. Nevar had complain.
