I think everything has both positive and negative sides. In case of phpBB and MyBB, people are free to choose which one is better for them. If someone doesn't want to burden himself, he can just choose MyBB according to your experience.

LOL..

Phpbb ain't got plugins... It got Modification.

I really Hate it when phpbb mods go elsewhere or when i Can't find a place in the template Files to Put.
Nvm Mind that...
But i Think MyBB is the Winner.
Easy Plugins.
Very Friendly Support Forum.
Everything You Need.
Stability.
Roll Back Option.
Styles are Very Much Customisable in The Newer Version.

well Phpbb is Good But it's Particulary For the Coders. To People Who Ain't expert in coding. MyBB Rocks !

I run a phpbb forum and indeed is not very easy to modify it. However what I really hate is that no matter how many traps I add, the spambots always find a way to register. Even if the spambots don't know yet to confirm the registration, the members list still shows their not confirmed accounts and I have to manually delete them.
