Yes, I am back with Exabytes Hosting. A few months ago I ended my hosting with Exabytes because I am getting quite frequent downtime with Exabytes, then I was offered a free hosting by Exabytes just a week ago. They had given me this hosting for free, to prove that their move to AIMS datacenter will improve their server uptime, previously their servers with TM Net. I did not need any extra hosting but since they are free (I already had 2), I think that it is great to give them a try.

I have transfered one of my website back to Exabytes, it is at Mart.com.my. Although Serverfreak uptime has been great so far, I still miss the Exabytes load speed for Malaysian and it is still the same with AIMS datacenter.

Submit a ticket for SSH in order for me to transfer my domain quickly, and within 2 minutes it is activated. It was pretty much the same as previously.

I am currently exploring the use of email marketing as I know that there are a lot of people in the affiliate marketing uses this. I do not intend to use them for affiliate marketing purpose, but just to keep my members updated, so it may be a monthly thing going on. I tend to keep away from email marketing all this while because I kept the perception of it as spam, but then I notice that some online community are sending monthly newsletter which I am keen to get updated. So will give this a try.

First I will need a good software that supports HTML, if you have any software in mind free/paid is fine, as long the price is decent and I can do a trial before purchasing. Currently I am giving these two software a try for free:-

• MailList Controller Free 7.2
• Sendblaster – Limitation but it is withing my needs

If you have any experience in this field, feel free to drop me a comments as I will need help in this as much as possible. I do not want to do this wrong the first time.

I had always like to make classifieds website as my very first website that makes me some money is my malaysia classifieds (http://www.Syiok.com). At the same time, I also like wordpress a lot because of its user friendliness, great seo, its free themes (also paid theme is just great), plugins, and tones of reason I like wordpress. Having a Classifieds Theme / Plugin for Wordpress is simply superb.

Classipress had made a great classifieds out of Wordpress. I still maintain the permalink, which will be great for seo purpose. Wordpress trackbacks, Update Services for sites like Technorati, user friendliness and other plugins could be added on top of this.

Check out my new classifieds site, Geekyfieds. that is dedicated to trading gadgets, games, console, trading cards and toys. It is targeted towards a specific group. At the front, I just change the logo, and everything else is original.

I am sure everyone can’t wait for year 2010 and there is much more on Make Money Online posts from famous bloggers, upcoming bloggers and also bloggers who gave up after 4 weeks in the year of 2009. So I thought that it may be great to take a poll on how everyone done this year? If you have set your target for year 2009, did you achieve them?

Despite the economy downturn, my online venture have increase. I did pretty well on the second half of the year, but I spend much more too on stuff like various new php scripts, more domains, advertisements, some gadgets, and also my semi-dedicated hosting with Serverfreak. Hopefully I will be able to pocket some earning in the future.

Also, I have got some income from Affiliate marketing for the very first time, it is some extra and got some money stucked at paypal waiting for a bigger sum to be withdraw later.

Currently I have Alexa and Technorati ranking on my ranking matrices for Malaysia Top 100 Blogs. I have been struggling to get other ranking up when I got compete API and the ranking ready, only to find out that it does not rate subdomain. Meaning yourname.blogspot.com will rank the same as www.blogspot.com, which is ridiculously bad. I have yet to come out with a solution.

While Google Rank script works well running one domain at a time but when I run my database of almost 200 domains, it seems to have no response from Google at all. I will need to fine tune this.

It has been a boring weekend with my daily job taking up a lot of time as I am on standby and my servers are not behaving well, I am stuck at home monitoring those metal box.
