Live.com email will be a failure

Posted by Adi Wong On November - 14 - 2007

After trying all methods to get a @live.com email. I finally found out that it is useless. I have a few Live.com email registered but I can’t login into my account. :)

So, what is the use having a web-base email when you can’t access them overseas. Microsoft seems to limit the registration to geographical limitation. As a result, Malaysian could only register for username@live.com.my email. I manage to get @live.com email because I have friends who did that for my in the United States. I was happy that I am able to get my username before everyone else in the whole world manage to grab some good name. Unfortunately, I have found out that I can’t login to my account. Hilarious to say that, but nevertheless, I have that account until Microsoft free up its geographical limitation.

Anyway, I snap up 4 username with @live.com and some useless username at @live.com.my. Although I do not have intention to use them, but it is always nice to keep them aside as you won’t know how many @gmail.com will be available. Most probably by now, you could hardly get your name and ending having username like adiwong2020@gmail.com.

wah…..sorry, it is hard to ask a favour from my friend to do it for another friend. What I could suggest is that you ask someone from US to do it for you. But since you can’t login yet, you will not be able to change the password until then.

Luckily I didn’t waste my time trying to register one account from Live.com

Wing: yes, lucky for you, I tried proxy and using the javascript which can be done previously trying to get the email but it failed. Therefore, I have to ask someone to register them on my behalf.
