Been really busy recently and so ashame of myself of not writing anything here for so long, because it indicates that I did not learn any new things, new ideas or found any new tips & tricks recently. But nevertheless, I have move some of my domains to a new Semi-Dedicated hosting. I have been looking for a great semi-dedicated hosting for quite some time. The reason mainly because of financial side which I am more than comfortable to pay for hosting now.
I believe that I found one reliable webhosting company but it is too early to say, all I can say now is “So far so good”. This blog will not move so soon because I have paid for Hostgator for their 3 years plan and it is not that resource hungry as my other websites. My new hosting is with ServerFreak Hosting, they are a Malaysia hosting company, pretty reputable so far and their office is quite near to my house. Will come out with their service review once I tried them out for at least 3 months.
On the other hand, I have been spanding some time with my family, and taking pictures with my new DLSR.

How about Exabytes? Do they provide what you want?
I’ve been using Exabytes for about 11 months, going to expiry on next month. I’ve no problem with Exabyte but recently their downtime very frequent. Anyway, I decide to switch to Hostgator after this.
Adi, I heard a lot about ServerFreak in lowyat forum, many people is using it and all of them have good experience with ServerFreak too. Since my blog is mainly for US traffic, it’s better for me to use Hostgator. How’s your experience with Hostgator? Everything is good?
Regards,
Lee
Ke hong is right…exabytes is not to shabby…but they goes down pretty often…
Hostgator is indeed a pretty good choice…but because they are hosted in US, you tend to upload and sites loads slower in malaysia.
Adi, my name is Ka Hoong instead of Ke Hong haha! Exabyte goes down quite often this few days, I feel bad of this.
Regarding Hostgator, I don’t mind whether the sites load slower in Malaysia or not, because I target US traffic.
I have experience down time with my site hosting with exabytes as well. Is that the reason why my traffic has drop? I am planning to switch to US server after it expire. But hostgator is better or godaddy?
Ah…my mistake Ka Hoong.
Yup. Hostgator is my recommended choice if you don’t mind uploading file slowly….anyway if you feel this site is loading pretty decent..it should be all right for you…since this is a hostgator hosted site
One of my sites is hosted with host gator. I think Ka Hoong you have made a good choice by going to them as they have a world class help support which will help you 24×7.
About serverfreak, i personally am not too sure about it as never heard or try them before. Good luck in shifting! ^^
host gator is simply great hosting…got a 3 year plan with them…and will be a happy camper there if service and uptime stays the same.
I’m using Server Freak hosting for one of my website and I must say that their support and server uptime is good and fast. No complaint at all. I also using webhostingpad hosting and they offer really attractive price. It’s hosted in US too and the support is awesome, I used their live support to chat with their technical support team whenever I got problem with the hosting.
Using US hosting too. No issue so far. Oh, I am using HostMonster by the way.
I’ve been with them for some time, no issues really..
[...] them and their service is simply great. Only a month ago I have move some of my important websites to their semi-dedicated hosting. But I did enquire about their service various time through msn regarding different aspect of their [...]
I use Media Temple- just renewed with them. They are more expensive but the service is good. Another blog I have that is hosted there attract lots of US visitors. If you are not writing for a local audience, I believe hosting with a US site will have its benefits because can potentially attract higher traffic.
