Project Petaling Street

Posted by Adi Wong On June - 9 - 2008

5 long years! This is what Project Petaling Street (PPS) have been doing for our Malaysia Blogging community. My blog have not been there for such a long time, but PPS have been a great medium for me to spread my blog post to the Internet World. I discover PPS 3 years ago before it was changed into a project, but was also sad to see that the whole project did not manage to pull it off.

Aizuddin Danian, the founder have started this website with the best intention of providing a platform for all bloggers to meet at the same point. All this at no cost of bloggers, and it was once told by liewcf that PPS founder does not earn much from advertisements but the traffic usage is tremendous.

PPS have been a home for all Malaysian Blogger and hope that it will stay for the years to come. Happy Birthday PPS!

It was down for a bit, but it’s back up again. And hear, hear, what a great resource it is.

But I dont really know how to ping that one, it is less user friendly than ping.sg

Seems like I need to submit one post by one post, anyway to do automatic ping?

  5. Adi Wong says:

Agnes: yes…pps is harder because it uses manual ping.sg….ping.sg uses newer codes/scripts that track automatically…pps is still the same code since I first visited in 3 years ago..or you could use trackback (only could be used for wordpress). I use both and could ping both automatically.

cloudsters: there is basically nothing to lose and all traffic to gain.
