I know there is other software out there whereby you could do remote connection but one software whereby you can bypass your firewall is pretty hard to find. With this Remote connection, you can basically surf, ftp, telnet, or do any other connection that is limited by the firewall. I think that LogMeIn is using a java connection therefore the port used in this connection is only port 80 whereby it is usually open for surfing purposes.
It is a free software whereby the server (your home PC) will need to be on while the client only require a standard browser and some ActiveX will be installed. Plus, the connection is also encrypted with AES 256-bit encryption. Browsing speed is decent depending on your download & upload internet speed.
The only disadvantage is that you will need to keep your home PC connected and on when you need to do this. Unless you have someone at home to call when you need to start your computer. Nevertheless, this is a way you can bypass your company firewall, or solve netbook unable to run heavy duty software, or unable to download certain files, or would simply need to remote as your file is always stored in once place.

Teamviewer also can firewall bypass.
Great! I just reliazed it.
