This is not a common topic I would write on this blog, but since my vent out my disappointment on the new Nokia E72 keeps restarting. I receive some traffic and comment regarding this issue. At first, my problem temporarily stop because I upgrade the first firmware as soon as it pop up on my phone. But after some time, even the Facebook application comes with the phone will cause my phone to restart.
Earlier I had wrote to Nokia about this issue. They provide me with two option. Option one was to reboot my E72 and remove the battery. Wait for 5 minutes before starting the phone again. This option did not help at all.
But the second option is doing fine so far. No more restart, especially software like nimbuzz. But this is hard reset (Remember to BACKUP). Using Nokia PC Suite does fine for me, backup everything, even on your SD card. After backup, type in *#7370# and it will prompt for lock code, it should be 12345. Your phone is now good as new, and everything is totally gone. I restore most part of the backup, other than my setting (I decide to do my setting all over again). After that my problem is gone.
