You may see this on a lot of webmaster forum who are suggesting to do a 3 way link exchange. This is actually a good method as Google will not see it as reciprocal link.
How 3 way link exchange works
There is 3 websites involve, which meas one of the people exchanging links will need to have 2 websites.
- Owner 1 [owns Site A (high PR/Traffic site) and Site B (new site)]
- Owner 2 [owns Site C (high PR/Traffic site]
In order to promote and exchange more links to go to Site B (new site), Owner 1 would offer a link from Site A to Site C and in return, Site C will link to Site B (not Site A).
3 way link exchanges are working at the moment but google is growing smarter by the day. Make sure the site linking to yours is related to your niche otherwise Google with not count the link.
